Efforts to extract disclosure are a waste of time.

Once again, the Disclosure movement has hit a brick wall. Even with over 17,000 signatures on two petitions, the White House responded with a declaration that there was “no evidence that any life exists outside our planet.” (see http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-15635612)

What else would anybody expect? If there was a cover-up of hard evidence (saucers, alien bodies etc.), does anybody in their right mind think that a petition would induce the secret-keepers to suddenly change course and reveal all? I have already written at length about this scenario, so I will not repeat myself here. Meanwhile, UFO enthusiasts could be turning their attention to more productive areas of enquiry.

Let’s assume for a minute that alien intelligent life would like to make contact with humanity as a whole. It does not matter if the government has evidence of their existence or not. It does not matter if aliens are from other physical worlds, and alternate dimension, or a fairy mound in Ireland. It does not matter if there are evil reptilians manipulating the human psychopaths who rule the world.

What matters is our capacity to manage our emotions and grasp the unthinkable if and when contact does take place. Whether that contact is helpful and benign, or an evil takeover by reptilians from alpha Draconis, intent on harvesting us for food, the fact remains that we are not ready for contact.

Disclosure Progress Bar

The Disclosure meme always seems to be hanging on by a thread, about to be either:

  • gloriously launched into the realm of “Great Predictions that came true”, or
  • thrown in the trash can of faddish cultural myopia.

Other writers have commented on the sad state of Disclosure, often in a derogatory tone, as though Disclosure proponents were total idiots who set out to prove themselves incompetent.

As an idea, Disclosure has it’s merits, but only if one accepts that the underlying assumptions are valid.

Homo Luminous? How about: “Homo-at-least-let’s-pretend-to-be-civilus”?

Posted by Michael on July 22nd, 2011 under Readiness Tags: , , , ,  •  2 Comments

It has been a long time since I posted anything here. What follows is a bit of a rant, but I’m bothered by the folks who promote “transformation” tours and conferences, as though preaching to the converted will accomplish anything more than make a buck. I only pick on Alberto because he was handy. Nothing personal, Alberto.

In 1896, in Thus Spake Zarathustra, Neitzche wrote about “Übermensch”, a superman, or “beyond man” that we are destined to become. He had a vision.

Another man with a vision, Alberto Villoldo wrote: “Through this great transformation, a new human is emerging on the earth. I call this new human “homo luminous.” Shamanic traditions understand that evolution happens within generations. It is for us to take that quantum leap into who we are becoming. We can become homo luminous in our lifetime.”

Really? What does that mean?

Alberto promotes shamanic knowledge as the means by which humanity will attain peace and harmony. He is not alone in his belief: shamanism has an intrinsic appeal because it is nature based, and offers what modern technology has lost – a mythology where we fit right into nature, not as a separate entity, but as an integral aspect of Nature. Fine – so far, so good. Shamanism, however, has its limitations.

An Intelligent Theory from Outside Mainstream UFOlogy

Posted by admin on April 7th, 2011 under Readiness  •  No Comments

Every now and then an original thought arises from the murk of belief systems, circular reasoning, conspiracy-obsession and wishful thinking. The Drake Equation, formulated to estimate the number of habitable planets in the Universe, suggests that there ought to be Intelligent life elsewhere. Especially now, with the discovery of numerous extra-solar planets, the equation’s variables are somewhat less speculative than eve one year ago. You can do some calculations yourself, using the Drake Equation Calculator.

The fact remains that we are not experiencing overt and meaningful contact with an extraterrestrial civilization. Some say that aliens are working in underground bases in the USA and elsewhere, or that there have been treaties signed with aliens, but such stories are just that: stories.

Despite the overwhelming evidence that strange things are flying around our skies, there is still considerable debate as to what they may be.

The latest theory is that the Singularity explains why we do not make contact with alien intelligences. Briefly, when a society such as ours gets past a certain point of development, when nanotechnology merges with biology and computing, and we merge with that technology, we become so intelligent, so fast, that we become unrecognizable as humans. Computers are expected to reach the capability of the human brain about 2030. After that point, when they start to design other computers, and they become miniaturized and implanted into people, the rate of change and capacity becomes so rapid and intense that we have no way of predicting the future: it is a Singularity, a point into which understanding, from our present vantage point, vanishes.

So the universe, according to this latest theory, is probably teeming with life, but it is so far advanced that we are incapable of recognizing it, let alone communicating with it.

Singularity theory has many followers. Ray Kurtzweil first promoted the notion, and it is now a powerful meme in the technology sector of our society.

Serious researchers into the UFO phenomenon ought to take notice.

World Changes and UFOs

A friend sent me yet another YouTube video on 2012. This one caught my attention because it had a pronoiac aspect, and was not only another paranoid expose of the current horrors facing the world. The information about the magnetic field of Earth was particularly interesting, lending a cosmic element to the usual story of mass extinction. The implication was that either people impact the magnetosphere, or that the magnetosphere correlates with human psychology. It did not mention UFOs once, although at the very end it does show planet Earth from space. There are so many of these videos circulating -   it is a cultural phenomenon that reflects and magnifies deeply held beliefs. Cynics would say that it is the vain and wishful thinking of well meaning but helpless humanoids, but like John Lennon, I am one dreamer who not only finds comfort in numbers, but hope and inspiration as well. UFOs and ET contact stories are proliferating, and are associated with increasingly with stories of healing and life transformation.

Canadian Radio still dismissive and mocking of UFO phenomena

I was surprised to hear on the radio this morning that the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) aired an item about New Zealand’s release of UFO files. Reports about UFOs are not often on the national news in Canada.

First, some verification work:

New Zealand archives reports that they made hard copies available at the Wellington Library, and not online for everyone to see. The New Zealand television also broadcast the story, showing the bound volumes being handed over to the Library, in response to a Freedom of Information request. OK, so it happened.

Rumours of the entire file being available for download,  are apparently not to be believed.

What interests me is that the CBC did not reflect on the fact that New Zealand’s release is part of a pattern, whereby nations around the world are releasing their files, almost like clockwork. Some say that these timed releases are part of a gradual, desensitizing  disclosure effort on the part of the secretive authorities who know the truth about extraterrestrial visitation of Earth.
